canon 10 22 vs sigma 10 20

As wide as I can get is what I am going for and picture quality.

The Siggy f3.5 also is the largest/heaviest of the bunch... it uses an 82mm filter for some reason. I'm sure you'll find some. I also like the Canon, because well it is a Canon, and many people have used it. I think it is Canon's best efs lens. I use it mainly for landscapes and I am very happy with it. Cost is similar, I do like the f3.5 all the way through on the Sigma. Picked it up used here.I just sold mine, went to FF and the 16-35mm. Neither DxO nor Photozone have reviewed the Canon mount version of either model; however, I think their evaluations of the Nikon mount version have some relevance and indicate that both are good lenses that should serve well for most real estate photography. I think I have narrowed it down to the Canon or Sigma. Canon 10-22 vs. Sigma 10-20. also the sigma seems better built as the canon feels very plastic I also like the 10-18 STM, but it doesn't open up very wide. Some of them said that it wasn't as sharp as it could be at 15mm, but for the 200 bucks I'm saving and the lens hood included I'm willing to live with it. Everything was great about it, the build quality, color contrasts and that it even came with a hood and case. Les deux zooms commencent à 10 mm.

Seems interesting, but not something that I've desired to do yet.

By the time my skills get good enough for a better lens, I'll have a full frame sensor camera that is not gonna be able to use this lens anyway.I've heard and seen results that show both lenses have/had some QC problems-very likely due to them both being quite new models.i have tried the sigma 10-20 & found the auto focus to be a little slow.I can't imagine focus speed being and issue for me in the way I think I am going to use it.
