We were in a small van with sOur hotel booked this trip prior to our stay in Porto - we were collected from and returned to our hotel. Met lots of lovely people... ended up speaking more French than Portuguese (or English, my mother tongue).

The train journey to Regua was a pretty ride and took two hours and I would advise travellers to take a drink with them as there is nowhere to buy one.
